Description

Graston technique is an instrument-assisted soft tissue therapy that uses specially designed stainless steel tool to assess and treat areas of muscle, tendon, ligament and fascial restriction. The instruments help identify areas of tightness or tissue dysfunction and allow for targeted treatment to improve mobility and reduce discomfort. This technique is commonly used for chronic muscle tension, scar tissue, teninopathies, plantar fascitis, tennis or golfers elbow and other soft tissue injuries. Treatment is also combined with stretching, strengthening and massage therapy.
